For Jennifer Elizabeth’s bridal shower, the theme was “Brunch and Bubbly with the Bride to Be.” We’ll get to the fun decor in a minute, but first, all parties start with the invitations. For this occasion, the invites were custom made to suit the theme. The wedding colors include navy blue so that was considered when choosing the design elements that were incorporated into the invite. Of course, florals were added for a special touch of femininity and celebration.
Once the invitations were in the mail, the clock started ticking! The main idea behind any bridal shower is celebrating the bride and showering her with love and gifts for the journey ahead. But, let’s be honest, one of the main ideas behind this shower was also the bubbly. We wanted the party to revolve around a bottomless mimosa bar that incorporated a little champs with juices and fresh fruit for mixing. This also served non-drinkers as they were able enjoy mixing juices with fresh fruit in a fun glass to enjoy as well. **We will always have a non-alcoholic drink option for your guests!** Since this shower had an intimate feel with a relatively small guest list, we thought it was a fun idea to allot a mini bottle of champagne for each girl. This made way for even more cute details like the geometric-print paper straws and some glittery ribbon to tie it all together.
From rose petals to sparkly drink stirrers, the more little details, the bigger the impact. As the centerpiece of the party, we wanted to make sure this mimosa bar made a statement. The champagne wall did just the trick! Not only was it eye-catching and inviting, it also served as a cute backdrop for photos.
No bridal shower is complete without a few games. “Who Has the Groom” is more of a door prize activity than a game, but fun nonetheless! We didn’t use just any group of hot guys for this version. The Mother of the Bride suggested we incorporate Jennifer’s favorite TV and movie characters along with some of the subjects of her girl-hood obsession – like Brian from Backstreet Boys. Envelopes are handed out at the beginning of the shower and when it’s time to open them, whoever had the groom won the prize. To all of our surprise, Jennifer actually got the groom!
Other games included Prosecco Pong and for the Disney-loving bride, a “Disney Love Songs” matching game.
Yummy food and drinks were enjoyed, gifts were opened and upon departure, each guest was given a party favor. As a little thank you for joining in the celebration, we gave away a hand painted champagne glass with champagne gummy bears inside!
This shower and all its little details made for a happy bride. Call us for your next event and let us go to work for you!
